Events

Members will design and build their own model rockets. They will learn about the chemical combustion reaction, aerodynamics, and hone their CAD skills during the Spring session. The rockets will be launched at the University of Rhode Island hosted by the Rhode Island Model Rocket Association (RIMRA).  

FLL and FTC Members will share what they have learned during the spring with the public. Members will demonstate robotics skills while also running hands-on robotics booths for visitors to try. Proceeds for the event help teams pay for t-shirts and lunches at their upcoming tournmaments.

Dress rehearsal for Qualifiers

Rising members and interested applicants are invited to either of our Open Houses in January to meet the coaches and currrent team members. Please RSVP if you are planning on attending. New teams will be decided after the Open Houses and the season will begin at the end of January.
