Fini McGlinchey - Lead Coach – Founder of Southeastern CT Robotics, Inc. FIRST Coach’s Award-winner. Fifteen years of experience teaching Lego Robotics and coaching FIRST Lego League Teams. BA Lafayette College. FIRST Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Trained. FIRST Youth Protection Program (YPP) Certified. Carnegie Mellon University Robotics Academy Teaching Certificates, Gold Level.

Pam Poirier – Assistant Coach – instructional technology teacher for 20 years at RMMS. Computer Lab specialist for 10 years in k-5 elementary school. BS from Southern University at Carbondale and MS from the University of New Haven. (YPP) Afterschool Robotics Club leader.
Brian McGlinchey
Brian McGlinchey – FTC Head Coach - RIT Graduate, BS Electrical Engineering, robotics concentration. Participated in FLL, then VEX in High School, Team Captain Senior year. Took his teams to VEX World Championship three consecutive times. (YPP)

Our TEAMS APPROACH
Our program is different because our members run it…
From designing their own t-shirts to raising the money to pay the bills, our members learn to be self-sufficient and to be valued members of society.
Our coaches' goals are to attend tournaments, support students, and let the team members’ expertise, excellence, and confidence shine.
Members are given the tools and techniques they need leading up to the competition. They practice making independent decisions throughout the season. This faith in their abilities allows the members to rise to the challenge and take pride in their performances.
